The ingredient of Minted Lamb Burgers
- 500g frozen home style fries
- 500g lamb mince
- 1 small red onion peeled finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh mint
- 1 small zucchini coarsely grated
- 1 tablespoon fruit chutney
- 1 egg
- 3 tablespoons dried breadcrumbs
- salt ground black pepper to taste
- vegetable oil for cooking
- 4 damper rolls halved
- rocket washed and dried to serve
- 1 225g can sliced beetroot drained
- extra fruit chutney to serve
The Instruction of minted lamb burgers
- cook the fries in your oven following packet directions
- combine lamb mince onion mint zucchini chutney egg breadcrumbs salt and pepper in bowl mix well until combined shape mixture into 8 round patties about 8cm in diameter
- heat enough vegetable oil in shallow frying pan to cover base by about 2mm over medium heat cook patties for 4 5 minutes on each side or until cooked to your liking
- meanwhile preheat grill on high toast cut surface of bread rolls under preheated grill place bottom halves of rolls onto serving plates and top with rocket beetroot patties and a spoonful of extra chutney
- top with remaining halves of rolls and serve with the fries
